What is Cleaning for a Reason?
Cleaning for a Reason is a nationwide network of caring small businesses, like No More Dust Maid Services, that believe in the difference a clean home can make for patients battling cancer and treatment.
Since 2006, Cleaning for a Reason and its 1,200 partners have provided free home cleaning for more than 44,750 cancer patients and their families across all 50 states and Canada. At No More Dust Maid Services, we are grateful to be able to be part of this great cause since April 2023 and provide 2 free cleanings to patients under cancer treatment in our community. Cancer has impacted extended family, employees and many members of our community. It’s very rewarding for our employees to be able to help cancer patients who are in the fight for their lives have a clean home to come home to.

Why are we giving away free cleanings?
Our mission is to ‘Give you one less task to worry about!’ We strive to help alleviate some of the stress for those facing health challenges by providing one less task to worry about—cleaning. Time is a precious gift, and it should be spent with family and loved ones, not worrying about keeping the house spotless. Let us handle that for you, so you can focus on what truly matters.

- Cleaning of paint stains
- Cleaning of chandeliers
- Wet wiping of light bulbs
- Cleaning of biohazards (mold, etc)
- Re-cleans after another unaffiliated service
- Hoarding
- Moving heavy furniture over 50lbs
- Cleaning animal waste/litter/insects
- Cleaning of exterior of home
- Washing of exterior windows
- Bodily fluids (blood, urine, vomit, feces)
- Cleaning while another service provider is present

- The independent cities of Alexandria, Falls Church, and Fairfax, Virginia
If you have to cancel or reschedule your cleaning appointment, it must be done 24 hours before your scheduled booking. If not, we reserve the right to charge a 30% late-cancellation fee.
If you’re not satisfied with our cleaning, let us know within 48 hours so we’ll be back and make it right. Simple as that!
